Clutch Arm Shaft 72 & On

The Cross Shaft (or operating fork) is used to actuate the Clutch Release or Throw-out Bearing in your VW Transaxle. The shaft installs into the bell housing of the transmission and holds the Throw-Out Bearing in position. Fits Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) from 1972 to 1977, Super Beetle from 1972 to 1979, Karmann Ghia from 1972 to 1974, Type 3s (Squareback, Fastback, Notchback) from 1972 through 1973, and Things from 1973 to 1974.
