Oil Cooler, 8-Pass 1/2″ Hose Barb

This 8-pass high performance oil cooler from EMPI features 1/2″ copper tubing, aluminum cooling fins and mechanically expanded construction for maximum cooling. Mechanically expanded tubes are physically stretched, so that they make perfect contact with the cooling fins and dissipate heat much more effectively than the standard style cooler with the least amount of pressure drop. The cooler comes with 1/2″ barbs on the ends. This cooler does not fit any stock VW air-cooled motors without using one of EMPI’s oil cooler bypasses (P/N 9203) or running a full-flow oil system.
