Universal Transaxle Adapter

This transaxle adapter kit made by EMPI is used to install a full-syncro (1961 and later) transaxles in 1960 and earlier Type 1 VWs, which have different mounting points. This kit can be easily installed onto the chassis using two M10-1.5 bolts with washers. This adapter only fits 1960 and earlier Standard Beetles and Karmann Ghias.

Allows the installation of a full-synchro 61 & later transaxle in 59 and earlier pans. Simple
